Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
* Work on heavy machinery, ensuring manufacturing plants are safe, functional, and efficient
* Complete daily maintenance to a high standard
Conduct mechanical and health and safety tests to ensure systems are reliable
* Manage site breakdowns by identifying and repairing faults
* Suggest innovative ideas to enhance production efficiency
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, prioritising safety in all tasks
* Tackle tasks both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in dusty or confined spaces – full protective equipment and safety support will always be provided
