Job Description:
The Position
You will be an integral part of leading a project team to deliver multidisciplinary building services and environmental design projects. You will support and oversee projects with clients to develop detailed briefs and produce reports for mechanical building services requirements, outline design, scheme design, and detailed design reports including drawings and specifications. You will also integrate sustainability and carbon emission reduction strategies into projects.
You will supervise an expanding team, including workload allocation, checking outputs, evaluating progress against time and budget constraints, and mentoring junior staff for career development.

About You
You should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a similar field, and be Chartered with a relevant institution such as IET or CIBSE.
You should have a proven track record in an M&E team, ideally within a design engineering consultancy, with skills in liaising with stakeholders, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
You should possess in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering services design, including systems, equipment, calculations, and drawing production, and familiarity with design tools like Revit and IES.
You should understand the wider built environment, legislative influences, carbon reduction, and sustainability standards, including relevant British Standards and Building Regulations.
