Procurement Manager (Onshore Civils Package) required for a major offshore wind developer based in England Responsibilities Work within the procurement function for the project as a member of the Procurement Team, reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager. Responsible for providing a comprehensive procurement service in support of project development activities within a major offshore wind farm project. Development of the Procurement Strategy for the Onshore civil enabling works for the onshore export cable. Identification and selection of suppliers to be invited to submit responses to Calls for Tender (CfT), Expressions of Interest (EoI) and Requests for Information. Developing the evaluation matrix and managing the procurement process from receipt of the bids through down selection and recommendations to award in accordance with best-value and approved procedures. Following Financial Close Contract Management responsibility for the contracts that have been negotiated including: Working closely with the Contract owner to ensure the delivery of the works in accordance with the Contract; Seeking internal approval and managing Variation Orders / issuing Work Orders for changes to scopes of work; Drafting and responding to contractual communications to be issued to contractors; Processing Payment Applications and managing Value of Work Done; Maintaining contractual registers.Requirements Knowledge of and a proven track record in managing procurement activities from identification of requirements through to contract award. Preferably with knowledge and experience in the offshore wind market but this is not essential. Experience of developing procurement strategies, developing Calls for Tender, managing the evaluation process and negotiation phases through to contract award. Experience of managing re-measure contracts and packages with HDD scopes of work. Ability to build effective relationships and be a team player at all levels both within the project and with suppliers. Proven ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbally. A strong results focus supported by relevant commercial skills and knowledge required to deliver value to the project. A proven ability to conduct successful commercial negotiations with suppliers. Knowledge of relevant procurement processes and procedures. Contract Management experience Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales
