Due to continued expansion, we require a Project Sales Engineer with proven skills in a technical sales arena, focusing on large bids and projects. This is an internal role and is an excellent route for progression within a technical field for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Sales Engineer:
1. Respond to all customer enquiries and progress orders in a timely and professional manner
2. Evaluate each enquiry technically and commercially to offer the correct product(s)
3. Liaise with other departments ensuring that customers’ needs are met
4. Secure orders by means of careful evaluation of customer needs, prompt and correct response, and offering pricing that maximizes profit to the company
5. Evaluate best delivery dates that can be achieved, utilizing stock products wherever possible
6. Check and respond to commercial terms from potential customers
7. Provide support for the external sales force and distributors worldwide
8. Provide quotations, costing, and delivery information as required to secure potential orders
9. Prompt follow-up of enquiries to maximize order intake
Skills & Experience Required:
1. HNC/HND Engineering based qualification
2. Experience selling a technical product
3. Enthusiastic and highly motivated
4. Required to be organized and willing to work unaided and as a team player
5. Ability to communicate at all levels and balance a high workload while maintaining tight deadlines
6. Proficient with Word and Excel
