MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their SHEQ team with a SHEA Advisor - Procurement for our Anglian Water framework, site based throughout the Anglian Water Region. As our new SHEA Advisor, you’ll be key to promoting collaboration and communication within subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and suppliers concerning Health, Safety, Wellbeing, Quality & Environment. You’ll be a central point of contact for subcontractors, ensuring transparent and open communication channels for SHEA (Safety, Health, Environment and Assurance) queries, standards, best practice, innovation, and requirements.
Key responsibilities:
1. Actively engaging with suppliers, conducting site visits with both our internally and externally suppliers and represent the Alliances in Tier 2 forums.
2. Participating in performance reviews with Category Managers.
3. Facilitating collaboration with internal teams to develop and improve the SHEA section of supplier audits and supporting auditing initiatives.
4. Proficiency in collaborative procurement processes, partner back office procedures, and the effective use of communication tools is essential for successful execution of the role.
5. Through effective collaboration and communication, you will ensure the seamless integration of HSW considerations into procurement processes, thereby upholding high standards of safety, health, and environmental assurance.
6. Attend site visits during the selection process to assess SHEA compliance and suitability of potential suppliers.
7. Deliver the SHEA section of onboarding sessions to new Framework suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards and expectations.
