As Learning Experience & Delivery Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of effective, engaging training across British Sugar—ensuring our people are safe, capable, and ready to perform. You’ll manage training programs from planning to delivery implementation, making sure they’re on time, on budget, and meet operational needs—all while delivering a standout learner experience. With our new PeopleHub Learning SuccessFactors system, you'll help unlock smarter ways of working through automation, data insights, and streamlined processes. Key Accountabilities Develop and Manage Training Delivery Plan: Responsible for taking Supply Chain & Agricultures role-based training needs data from PeopleHub and creating a 15-month rolling face-to-face operational delivery plan, including refresher and onboarding training. Training Delivery Oversight: Make sure training is completed on time, stays within budget and fits with the team's workload and schedule. Collaboration for Effective Training Plan Execution: Work closely with Operations Support Managers (5), Engineering Support Managers (5), Site General Managers (5), and Head of Technical Agriculture (1) to finalise the training plan, ensuring maximum attendance for cost effectiveness and timely delivery, with quarterly reviews. Capacity and Attendance Management: Provide data on learning completion time to enable capacity planning and proactively monitor attendance to ensure maximum attendance in scheduled training events. Training Provider Coordination: Collaborate with both internal trainers and external training providers to ensure successful execution of the training plan. Issue Resolution and Operational Flexibility: Quickly develop solutions in collaboration with Operations Support Managers, Engineering Support Managers and Head of Technical Agriculture when unplanned operational events disrupt the ability to run training whilst maintaining budget. Learning Experience Management: Use PeopleHub Learning to provide clear, concise and engaging training information to create a positive learning experience for all employees. Training Logistics and Resource Management: Ensure that training locations, equipment, and materials are fit for purpose, and manage the scheduling and attendance tracking through PeopleHub Learning. Budget Management and Reporting: Manage the Talent & Leadership training budget tracker, raise and track purchase orders, and analyse feedback data to highlight opportunities for training improvements. Continuous Improvement and Stakeholder Engagement: Identify improvements for training delivery, experience and costs, manage the PeopleHub Learning mailbox, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Skills, Knowledge & Experience Training Delivery Management: Ability to develop and manage comprehensive training plans based on data, creating clear roadmaps for face-to-face operational training over a 15-month period for budget setting. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver clear, concise, and timely training information and updates to learners, stakeholders, and external suppliers. Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to quickly resolve issues when unplanned operational events disrupt training schedules and find innovative solutions to improve processes. Data Management and Reporting: Proficient in managing and analysing training data, ensuring accuracy, and utilising reporting tools (e.g., PeopleHub, SuccessFactors) for data-driven decision-making. Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, execute, within required timelines and budgets while managing operational capacity. Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience in working with senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to align training needs with budget and learning experience and ensure smooth execution. Budget Management: Experience in tracking and managing training budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring financial efficiency in training delivery. Digital Literacy: Comfort with using and optimising learning management systems (e.g., PeopleHub Learning) and other digital tools to streamline training delivery and administration. Customer-Centric Focus: Strong focus on delivering a positive learner experience, managing enquiries effectively, and ensuring training aligns with both learner needs and business objectives.
