Team Leader
We are seeking a passionate Team Leader to help lead our dedicated team, ensuring that the people we support continue to achieve their full potential in independent supported living.
The role requires an experienced Support Worker looking for the next step in their career, or someone passionate about leading a team to provide the best care and support possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Caring for The People We Support:
* Compassion: Monitor the people we support's mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, ensuring appropriate action is taken when necessary.
* Competence: Regularly review People we support's support plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans, and ensure staff are properly trained in safeguarding procedures.
* Communication: Build effective relationships with the people we support, their families, and external professionals to enhance their health and lifestyle.
* Supporting the Team:
* Courage: Lead and inspire your team through mentoring and coaching, ensuring they meet the needs of the people we support.
* Commitment: Maintain compliance with care policies and procedures, completing all quality assurance and compliance activities to a high standard.
* Collaboration: Work closely with your team and management to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date.
* Leadership & Development:
* Coaching & Mentoring: Provide guidance and training on best practices, including medication management, moving and handling techniques, and communication preferences.
* Continuous Improvement: Actively seek opportunities for both your own development and that of the team, ensuring all practices align with CQC standards and regulations.
Requirements
* Some experience in coaching or mentoring, within a health and social care setting
* A natural ability to lead, motivate, and support your colleagues to be the best they can be
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external professionals
* A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (car/motorbike) for work purposes
* A passion for learning and development, both for yourself and your team
