Kingdom Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Band 6 ADHD Nurse to join our dedicated team at one of our client’s CYPMHS clinic in Broadstairs, Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with ADHD by supporting our busy ADHD service. You will play an integral role in monitoring and reviewing ADHD cases, working with a large caseload, and providing essential assessments for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and review ADHD cases to ensure targets are met
* Support the existing ADHD team with the current large caseload and assessments of young people
* Conduct physical health checks to monitor the effects of medication and collaborate with prescribing doctors
* Liaise with other professionals, including schools, to support young people in managing ADHD
* Work with families and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans for children and young people with ADHD
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: 3 Months
Required Skills & Experience:
* Experienced Band 6 ADHD Nurse who has worked in an ADHD clinic (recent experience preferred)
* Strong assessment skills and ability to perform risk assessments and management
* Excellent communication skills with both clinical teams and young people/families
* Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and reporting
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to travel to the Broadstairs clinic for face-to-face appointments
