Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced leader to manage the design and development of new technology. In this role, you will oversee the design process from concept to production, ensuring effective integration of mechanical and electrical systems. Working closely with senior leadership, you will lead a team of 12, supported by two team leads. This is an opportunity to contribute to innovation in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What will you be doing?
Lead the Design department within the business, covering both Mechanical and Electrical teams, managing resources, and developing best-in-class processes and standards.
Drive concept development, defining and shaping the future of our products.
Oversee virtual validation of systems and components, including FEA and performance testing.
Manage detailed design and drawing releases, ensuring excellence in GD&T and PDM control.
Take ownership of drawing sign-off and quality assurance.
Be at the forefront of product evolution—enhancing current designs while shaping the future of full-motion simulation platforms.What are we looking for?
5+ years of experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems.
Expertise in 3D CAD, PDM, and FEA.
A proven track record in the automotive, motorsport, or simulator sectors.
Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and delivering multiple complex projects.
A passion for innovation and the drive to push boundaries in high-performance mechanical design.
Experience with SolidWorks (desirable but not essential).Salary and Benefits
