The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to Rheumatology patients' pathway of care for remote blood monitoring. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patients on a remote monitoring pathway are managed smoothly. The post holder will also work closely with the Rheumatology CNSs and Consultants to support robust monitoring of the patient's remote monitoring of their condition and act accordingly to the specialty instructions and SOPs. Additionally, the post holder will work closely with the DAWN/Biologic Multispecialty Remote Monitoring Administrator for Integrated Medicine and the Rheumatology Clinical Administration Team (CAT 9) to ensure appropriate cross-cover is provided.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer-focused, and knowledgeable point of contact. To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, ensuring that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales, as per SOPs.
The post holder will demonstrate polite, clear, and accurate advice line support for patients and document all communication on EPR and DAWN, with some self-guided initiative.
The post holder will be expected to work autonomously and seek help from clinicians when appropriate.

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications/Training:
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grades A-C
* Accurate data entry, typing, and analytical skills
* Experience of working with patients and providing information regarding their appointments or treatment plans
* Significant experience of using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel or patient monitoring IT applications
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration/Customer Care or acquired equivalent experience
* Experience of working in the NHS healthcare administrative system and process
Skills & Abilities
* Polite, clear, and accurate telephone manners
* Excellent communication skills with a particular ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary team members and patients
* Ability to demonstrate motivation to learn, develop, and progress
* Excellent timekeeping and management
* Understanding of patient priorities and performance targets related to appointments and waiting times
* Understanding and able to liaise with Primary Care, GP, and community services
