Business Analyst
Locations: London (must be willing to travel to client sites throughout the UK on an ad hoc basis)

The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play an important role in bridging the gap between all business stakeholders, both internal and external, including Sales, Project Management, Technical Architecture, Development, QA Testing, and service support colleagues. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the change needs of our clients, investigate business problems and opportunities, and facilitate the delivery of appropriate changes through the application of business analysis techniques and documentation.

6. You are business savvy, able to craft and translate business needs into traceable requirements and show evidence how the solutions meet the required needs with measurable value. You are comfortable working with the team reshaping user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
7. Work collaboratively building and maintaining a backlog of prioritised requirements/user stories.
8. Elaborate epics and user stories from high level concepts to 'playable' units of work for the Developers.
9. Work closely with the Design and Research team, notably User Researchers and Service Designers, and integrate and enable user research as part of elaboration and continuous improvement.
10. Assist the Delivery Manager / Scrum Master with maintenance of physical and digital Agile boards.
11. Own and continuously improve the user story lifecycle, including definition of ready/done, user story kick-off and sign-off.
12. Work with other Business Analysts, Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Technical Leads and QA and external stakeholders on site.
13. Apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure that the team's plans and objectives are achieved.
Set Yourself Apart:
1. 2-4 years business analysis experience.
2. Knowledge of the Requirements Engineering Process and experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
3. Experience of applying techniques appropriate to the business situation such as Business Process Modelling (using BPMN), Context Diagrams, Use Cases, SWOT analysis, MOST analysis and Business Activity Models to support the investigation and analysis of business situations.
4. Experience of working with a range of business and technical stakeholders in an agile context.
5. Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
6. Experience working in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary teams.
7. Experience in a range of prioritisation techniques (RoM, t-shirt sizing, MoSCoW etc).
8. Understanding and experience of user centric design experience with non-functional aspects such as security, privacy, accessibility, performance and reliability.
9. Business Analysis certification is highly desirable for this role.
