This Secondary School was rated 'Good' under the former Ofsted ratings for schools; their aim is to provide every student a strong education in a safe learning environment.
This Head of MFL role is a permanent position full time starting in the new academic year and the school is looking for an experienced teacher who is ready to take the next step up in their career.
Head of MFL Role:
* Comprehensive knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 MFL curriculum
* Organised, safe and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources
* Committed to supporting every child to reach their full potential
* Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
* Ability to assess students and monitor their progress
* The Head of MFL must be able to lead and support the staff within the department and strive for success
* Able to plan, adapt and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
* Compliance with the school's policies and the reliable implementation of these
Head of MFL Requirements:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
* Have recent mainstream school-based experience as an MFL Teacher in a Secondary School
* Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
* A relevant MFL related degree is desirable
* SEND experience is desirable
