* Perform high end calibrations& repairs on a wide variety of electrical test, measurement anddiagnostic equipment (TMDE)
Deliver specific, target driven onthe job training/experiential learning to ICS Electrical teammembers and apprentices/graduates Deputise for ICS Electrical teamleader whenever required – Including people/resource management,workflow management and workload signoff Write and approve calibrationprocedures and measurement uncertainty budgets Take part in a range of Qualityaudits (including UKAS/ISO 17025), achieving UKAS signatorystatus Professional communication withtechnical stakeholders on instrumentation/calibration topics,including consultation on new measurementtechnologies
Your skills andexperiences:
Essential:
* Experience working in a precisionElectrical Calibration/metrology laboratoryenvironment
Understanding of quality systems& standards (ISO 17025/ISO 9001) Relevant academic qualification(STEM Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent)
Desirable:
* Existing UKAS signatory status forElectrical Calibration
Experience in creation ofmeasurement uncertainty budgets to ISO 17025level Experience in use of automationsoftware (Fluke Metcal, Met/Track, Met/Teams,Labview) Experience in Mechanical,Dimensional, Temperature and other engineeringcalibrations

The (ICSElectrical) team: The Calibration departmentcurrently supports 30,000 pieces of equipment per year, rangingfrom traditional analogue equipment through to state-of-the-artdigital systems. ICS Electrical focuses the calibration,maintenance, and repair of TMDE capable of making AC/DC voltage,current, resistance, inductance, capacitance, and time/frequencymeasurements. ICS Electrical consists of around 8+ team members.ICS Electrical sits alongside various other teams within theoverall Calibration department, consisting of 50+ team members.
