We are looking to recruit a flexible support worker to provide cover support for annual leave, sickness, and training to some of our already established support services in Worthing and the surrounding area where you will be guaranteed working hours of up to 20 hours per week.
We have weekday, weekend, and evening/sleep-in shifts available.
Brief outline of the role:
Your role will be to support people with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs with day-to-day tasks in either our supported living houses or out in the community.
We support people with all aspects of their lives, such as daily living skills, medication, personal care, and finances, as well as accessing community activities. You will need to have good communication skills and enjoy spending time with people.
We are looking for people who are patient, compassionate, understanding, and able to use their own initiative. A current valid driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous for this role due to the vast areas covered.
