What the Job Involves The role involves being part of a team dedicated to ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of libraries. You will encourage customers to self-serve and deliver exceptional customer service across all channels, maintaining high levels of first point of contact resolution. Representing the Council, you will promote its core values and Customer Service Standards. Your responsibilities include providing accurate information in a friendly, welcoming environment, and independently handling the majority of inquiries. You will work to ensure all customers receive an efficient, effective, and high-quality service, promoting a positive image as a service provider to the local community. You will provide first-line access to library, council, and voluntary services, and assist with the development and delivery of digital services. This role extends to Enfield Libraries, including Edmonton Green, Enfield Town, Ordnance Unity Centre, Palmers Green, and related community libraries.
