Job Title: Electrician Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham Job Location: Midlands Salary - £38,262 ( van provided) per annum Contract type - Permanent Working hours - Full Time (39 hours per week) Interview Date - TBC About the role You will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, EICR`s Inspection & Testing including remedial installation work in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice. You will be undertaking a range of planned, void or maintenance works, repairing or replacing items to maintain properties to a high standard, in line with the role skills framework. You will complete works in conjunction with all health and safety procedures, policies and legislation. You will efficiently and deliver high standards of quality. You will be attending emergency electrical repairs. Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer. About you You need to have a minimum of level 3 NVQ in electrical installation, qualified to City & Guilds standard (18th Edition), have working knowledge of current 18 th edition BS7671 - Edition two and qualified to City and Guilds 2391. You will need the ability to undertake a range of planned and responsive maintenance works, repairing, replacing and maintaining properties to a high standard. You must have technical skills to carry out work on electrical systems, with experience of domestic refurbishment and maintenance repairs. You will be able to ensure the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control. You will be able to undertake `out of trade` work as may be required from time to time.
