As the Brand Strategy Lead, you will report to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, digital, and client services. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with our clients' business objectives and drive measurable growth. You will also mentor junior strategists and contribute to thought leadership within the agency.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute brand strategies that resonate with target audiences and differentiate our clients in the marketplace.
* Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand strategies are effectively translated into compelling campaigns.
* Lead client workshops and presentations, articulating strategic insights and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
* Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize future initiatives.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our strategies innovative and effective.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You will have:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in brand strategy, preferably within an agency environment.
* Proven track record of developing successful brand strategies for clients in complex markets.
* Strong understanding of the creative process and marketing disciplines.
* Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Demonstrated enthusiasm, innovation, and creative thinking.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
* Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
