Purpose of the role / role overview The purpose of this role is to produce exceptional content that will provide clients with equally exceptional outcomes. The overarching goal is to provide technical expertise and demonstrate proficiency in producing awesome content (both filming and editing) Skills needed to successfully fulfil the role include: Experience across the Sony camera range e.g. Sony FX6, Sony FX3 Confident self-shooter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make others feel at ease. 3 point lighting experience, primarily for interviews Strong video editor with comprehensive Da Vinci or Premiere Pro knowledge 2 years After Effects experience with the ability to mock up motion graphics for things like charts, graphs, lower thirds and title cards. Effective organisational skills and the ability to maintain file structures for content storage An ongoing awareness of trends in the video industry Key Accountabilities Maintenance and upkeep of company equipment including (but not limited to) cameras, lenses, audio equipment and grip. Filming TFF projects to a high standard keeping in line with brief guidelines, as provided by project leaders. Editing of TFF projects to a high standard and keeping in line with brief guidelines, as provided by project leaders. Keep lead producers/project managers informed of progress through project management platforms, such as ClickUp. Management of client expectations on set when producer/project manager is unavailable. Key Tasks / Responsibilities Assist the Videography Lead with quarterly kit inventory. Ensure all kit is kept in good working order and always prepared before shoots to avoid any hindrance. Deliver footage and back up as soon as possible after a shoot so it is always backed up in a minimum of two places. Deliver edits to high company standard within proposed timeframes and advise if and when these are not possible (no less than 24 hours before proposed deadlines) Participate in pre and post-production meetings with clients when appropriate to advise and liaise.
