We seek an experienced individual to take on the role of Estate Security Manager at BRE Science Park, Watford. In this position, you will integrate with the Estates team to ensure that the highest security standards are always maintained. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy to identify and mitigate potential risks and threats to the estate. The assignment is located on a 75-acre site that has controlled entry with monitored CCTV and manned security. There are approximately 85 buildings that make up BRE.

Specific responsibilities:
* Responsibility for site access control and CCTV Management.
* Assist the estate team with data analysis gleaned from the Access Control system to understand traffic flow into the estate and building occupancy levels.
* Thorough investigation and comprehensive report writing for all incidents, ensuring stakeholders are informed of actions.
* Provide weekly and monthly updates with the wider Estates team and Senior Operation Manager.
* Ability to identify and implement the most effective methods of running the contract, i.e. service and staffing levels, budgetary control, and meeting site requirements.
* Ensure all client queries and complaints are dealt with promptly and effectively and that the client is kept fully informed of what action has/is being taken.
* Recruit security staff from the interview stage, follow up with screening and continue professional development.
* Reasonability of managing a team of 8 on-site employees, including Performance management, Training and Development.
* Run monthly emergency response drills to develop and strengthen the team's existing skills.
* Maintain the Business Community Speed Watch initiative to change driver behaviour, reduce road-related incidents and improve overall site safety.
* Develop the existing visitor management experience.
* Develop and assist in implementing provisions under Martins Law.
* Willingness to put your hand to changing codes to digital door locks and conduct regular security audits to ensure that standards are maintained and identify potential risks.
* SIA front line Security Licence (SG or DS and CCTV).
* Experience in using Timegate scheduling platforms.
