The Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals who are flexible and adaptable to join our private care team in Verwood, Dorset.
As a Personal Assistant, you'll work with an adult disabled individual who is a weightbearing wheelchair user and support them to live independently, maintain healthy relationships and work effectively.
We are looking for motivated, organised self-starters who can follow instructions, collaborate effectively, and provide support with administrative tasks if required.
This role is flexible and dynamic, and we are looking for individuals with a diverse range of availability. If you are interested, regardless of personal circumstances, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
Main Duties:
● Support the individual with daily tasks, personal care, household management and any administrative duties if necessary
● To support the individual with work duties and travel if required (you will have access to a Motability vehicle when on shift)
● Maintain an inclusive approach and respect the individual's choices and agency
Personal Qualities and Attributes required:
● No prior experience is necessary, training will be provided
● Full UK driving license and a confident driver
● Access to own transport recommended due to location
● Must be comfortable with small dogs
● Confident with taking photographs on a mobile phone and supporting the individual with their personal presentation including hair (desirable, but not essential)

● Mindful and respectful of those managing Mental Health Challenges
● Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
● Respectful of dignity and independence
● Good communication skills and social skills
● Punctual, reliable and flexible
Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references.
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
Hours and availability: Various shifts available subject to individuals availability and mutual agreement - including weekday/weekend and bank hours may vary
Start ASAP/ March for the right individuals.
Pay: £12-£16 per hour (self-employed), £1.44 per hour (employed)
