Life as an IT Support As the IT champion for the Head Office site based in Elstree, you will manage incoming support chats, calls and emails on behalf of our Central Functions (Finance, Technology, Brand, Quality, People) and EMEA teams and will be the first point of contact for all technical support service requests - remote and onsite. The ideal candidate will be a keen problem-solver who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment but also know how to create and grow sustainable processes that make the job of IT easier. Working closely with our IT Manager, you’ll experience learning and growth as you support our colleagues in Medik8 headquarters and get involved in wider projects. No two days will be the same and you’ll gain exposure to the many areas of the business that IT flows through. In m ore detail your role will include: Logging and resolving all IT Helpdesk issues received in the agreed time frame. Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults. Installing, setting up and configuring computer hardware, software, system accounts and help setting up monthly Town Hall events. Set up new starters station desks and equipment, assist with training and onboarding new staff. Monitoring and maintaining all IT hardware assets and software licensing, meeting areas with documentation. Building and managing relationships with all departments, vendors and suppliers, ensuring communication is clear and effective. Working closely with the IT Manager on various ad-hoc projects. What you will bring Self-starter, “can-do” attitude and some meticulous thinking Proven experience in a helpdesk or technical support environment, remotely and hands-on. Knowledge of networking; TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Helpdesk and MDMs Solutions. Familiarity with Google Workspace and Google products (Gmail/Drive/Docs/Sheets etc.), as well as Microsoft365 Experience with Windows and Mac OS. Chrome OS would be a plus but is not essential Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to document complex technical issues consistently and thoroughly. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent customer service and troubleshooting abilities in a distributed-working environment. A good eye and attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
