Financial Controller - Belfast
The successful Financial Controller will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating business performance, providing guidance on the financial implications of significant decisions, managing the generation of financial and managerial reports, and offering recommendations to enhance and ensure the protection of financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the implementation of financial policies, procedures and related guidelines, ensuring compliance with external requirements
2. Develop and deliver financial management and control systems
3. Provide specialist financial advice, guiding the implementation of finance policy and supporting the design and implementation of projects and change initiatives
4. Co-ordination of the month end process
5. Board reports and review of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation and validation process
6. Deliver improvement projects and programmes
7. Influence the leadership by formulating appropriate financial strategies and plans.
8. Ensuring standard costs are regularly reviewed and updated and variances are actively managed
Criteria:
9. CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant with minimum 1-2 years experience in industry
10. Demonstrable commercial acumen and ability to influence and drive results
11. Strong verbal and written communication skills
12. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
13. Excellent planning and organisational skills
Salary is dependant upon experience and win the region of £50-55k
