Role Overview: As a Chef de Partie, you will be an integral part of our kitchen brigade, responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to prepare and cook dishes to perfection, ensuring that every plate leaving the kitchen meets our quality standards. You will also supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, helping to develop their skills and ensuring smooth operations in your section. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard in your designated section. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner in line with health and safety regulations. Assist in the development of new menu items and recipes. Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in maintaining kitchen operations. Supervise and train junior chefs, ensuring that they are developing and adhering to kitchen standards. Manage section stock and ensure the efficient use of ingredients to minimise waste. Work well under pressure, especially during busy service periods. Maintain excellent communication within the kitchen team. Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen. Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health & safety regulations. Passion for cooking and a keen interest in high-quality food preparation. Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment. Excellent attention to detail and presentation. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
