Job Overview
In the role of Business Intelligence & SFE Analyst, you will be accountable for developing and implementing solutions and analysis to support the excellent execution of our sales force activities as well as other in field activities deployed by the Marketing, Allergan Medical Institute and Medical Affairs teams within the aesthetics practitioner’s community.
You will support E&C Commercial lead, and E&C LT providing high quality Sales Force Excellence and other kinds of Analytics.
You will act with a high degree of professional confidence and autonomy, to ensure the delivery of Business Intelligence and Insights and Sales Force Effectiveness analysis to help drive improvement and efficiency, supporting the teams with the development of project initiatives, ad- hoc SFE analysis and standard reports / dashboards to agreed quality standards; supporting CRM adoption and data quality management/
Key responsibilities include:
* Support E&C LT with SFE and other kind of metrics to enable teams to make robust business decisions
* Contribute to business process improvement by providing analytical support, data driven insights and recommendations.
* Work with commercial & marketing, finance and IT management to understand and prioritize data and information needs, including the enrichment of data to support the generation of business insights.
* Proactively deliver recommendations and develop reports to generate new business insights and strengthen evidence base decision-making processes.
* Develop a close interaction with finance to provide business insights.
* Develop the reports to track commercial initiatives (commercial polices, bespoke customer contracts, short term pricing offers etc) that impact price, revenues and profits to ensure deliver of expectation across countries and area.
* When necessary, interact with the countries and International to understand current demand and solve issues with CRM and associated platforms.
* Collaborate with countries on overall data quality and provide guidance on local data management.
* Map, track and foster increased overall adoption and usage of data-based reports across functions and countries.
* Support monthly data needs for Area monthly operating meetings and regular business cadence reviews at the area level
Qualifications
Education
* Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare or Business Management or other related field preferred
* Preferably educated to degree level, ideally with experience in a Business Operations or IT function
* Relevant experience in supporting and administering CRM systems, ideally Veeva/Salesforce
* Relevant experience in managing data quality ideally through a Master Data Management solution such as Reltio MDM
Experience:
* High level attention to details and experience in data validation/ cross checking with multiple data sources
* Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Market Research industries experience (min. 2 years)
* Significant experience in analytics and insights, preferable in the pharmaceutical and medical device and health care arena.
* Proven experience in working on projects related to Segmentation & Targeting processes, salesforce optimisation and multichannel implementation.
* Experienced excellent communicator with the interpersonal and consultative skills necessary to work effectively with a diverse matrix team environment
* Demonstrated ability to assimilate insights from multiple sources and data sets to proactively create and develop strategic actionable guidance for brand teams.
* Demonstrated ability to cope well with change, risk and ambiguity and act decidedly with incomplete or imperfect information
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Experience with Veeva CRM
* Experience of Microsoft Power BI would be preferable.
* Ability to work in a collaborative and influencing fashion to drive business activity
* Pro-active - creates solutions & takes the lead on initiatives, with ability to suggest new solutions that haven’t been thought of is just as important as being able to honor requests
