As a multi-skilled team, we are working hard to help improve patients' lives and help them deal with their medical conditions with pride and without fear. We can offer you a rewarding, flexible and supportive role with great opportunities to learn a range of skills and work towards higher personal goals, if this is your desire.
We are offering a Registered Nurse position with opportunities to learn within the specialty of Respiratory, on a fast-paced acute medical ward. The ward is a 23-bedded, monitored unit. Specialty training is given to all staff and is well supported by the respiratory teams.
Good education/progression opportunities will be supported by the Ward Manager.
Main duties of the job
1. Support the Ward Manager and other colleagues in the everyday running of the ward.
2. Maintain patient dignity and respect all patients, colleagues, other staff, and relatives.
3. Be allocated your own cohort of patients for the shift; you will be their first point of contact and will be responsible for their medical needs.
