Job Title: UKI Shopper Insight Assistant Manager
Location: Kingston-upon-Thames, UK, with possible office relocation to Central London in 2025

JOB PURPOSE
You will be supporting the UKI CMI Lead in the identification and translation of shopper and customer needs, insights and behaviours to guide the local IC category strategy, and for consumer guidance and delivery in the local market(s) across 6P pillars with a particular focus on customer and category performance.
This is an exciting new role in the business, offering the scope for the right candidate to shape it, and reflects the importance the business places on developing this muscle. It would be an ideal first move into client-side working for a researcher looking to develop their broader business understanding.
The ideal candidate will have several years experience in shopper and market data, either in a market data agency, or an ad hoc agency with a significant shopper focus in their work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Mining insights including shopper, customer and category, through end-to-end research and translation into actions to help build business strategy and drive growth.
* Managing day to day reporting and data analysis needs, through deep understanding of the data and data systems, and the KPIs the business needs to track.
* Leading on local shopper & customer insight projects, from briefing to debriefing, through a strong understanding of research methodologies and business priorities.
* Partnering the Category Management teams, by providing support with customer-facing analysis and insights, and helping the team access the latest thought leadership from our agencies.
* Support on regional shopper and customer workstreams, providing data and local market insight, and local project management/agency coordination.
* Manage the coding process with Nielsen and Kantar – coordinating internal contributions to ensure accurate and timely information is provided.

* Have good analytical thinking and communication skills to present clearly, simplify complex topics and influence decision making; communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload as requests will likely be more than resources allow.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
* Relevant experience in an Insight, Analytics or Marketing role.
* Experience of project management including stakeholder management.
* Numerate and confident with data systems and analysis.
* Ability to manage time and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.
