What you’ll be doing
The Reach & Respond service operates on a 24/7 basis and supports nearly 9,000 vulnerable people to remain living independently and safely in their own home. We are looking to recruit someone for this 32-hour permanent post, including standbys in Hambleton.
Working on a 5-week rota, you will work 7 standbys, alongside a 32-hour working week. You'll need a strong desire to support your team, and where possible be flexible covering additional hours/standby's when required. Another benefit is that the position is worked from home until you are called out when on standby and you'll have full use of a fully equipped fleet vehicle.
Standbys are paid at an excellent rate plus an additional call out fee per call out

You will work with your own small circle of vulnerable customers in the local community, supporting them to live happy, independent lives by providing emergency response visits, installing assistive technology and equipment, advice and information, companionship (having a cup of tea and a natter!), plus many more tasks.
