Job Opportunity: Head of Property & Facilities Location: City Of London Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 Benefits Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Property & Facilities to oversee and manage a diverse property portfolio, ensuring optimal operational efficiency across all sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Total Facilities Management (TFM), with in-depth knowledge of building services, heritage property management, and health & safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Total Facilities Management (TFM): Lead and oversee all aspects of property and facilities management, ensuring smooth operations for a diverse portfolio of buildings. Project Management: Supervise and manage major projects, including renovations, refurbishments, and building upgrades, ensuring that timelines and budgets are adhered to. Heritage & Listed Buildings: Manage the care and conservation of heritage and listed buildings, including the development and implementation of conservation plans. Building Services/Fabric: Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all building services, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fabric works. Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and monitor health and safety policies, ensuring compliance across all sites, and managing risk assessments and safety audits. Contract Management: Oversee the tendering and procurement of contracts related to facilities services, including soft services such as cleaning, vending, pest control, and more. Third-Party Management: Liaise with third parties, including insurers, landlords, local authorities, and suppliers, managing relationships to ensure efficient service delivery. Energy & Sustainability: Oversee energy management and utility procurement, working towards reducing the carbon footprint of the properties and improving energy efficiency. Uniformed Guarding & Access Control: Manage and monitor security services, access control systems, and stock loss management to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Heritage & Conservation Expertise: Experience in managing heritage and listed buildings, including the development of conservation plans. Facilities Management Experience: Proven experience in Total Facilities Management (TFM), including project management and managing a diverse property portfolio. Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, contractors, and third-party service providers. Health & Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of health & safety regulations, risk assessments, and compliance within facilities management. Energy & Sustainability: Knowledge of energy management practices and the ability to lead initiatives aimed at reducing carbon footprints
