By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a teenage boy in Gateshead on a 2:1 basis.
Our service user is a happy young man, with an infectious smile! Were seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant who can provide specialist clinical care to our service user both at home and within his educational setting.
He loves attending school, interacting with those around him and playing with his younger brother. He enjoys watching Mr. Tumble loves listening to nursery rhymes and engaging in sensory-based activities. Your role extends beyond the delivery of essential care - it involves supporting our service user in accessing the things he enjoys.
Please note, we are seeking candidates who have experience in children's complex.

Pay Rates:
1. £ - £ per hour
2. Approx. £ - £ (per 9-hour day shift)
Shifts Available:
3. Part Time Days 2-3 shifts per week
4. 8:00am -5:00pm
Please note, our service users family have specifically requested female staff for their team.
Essential Experience:
5. 3 months previous care experience
6. Medication administration
7. Personal care
8. Moving and handling
9. A valid driving license for operating our service users' adapted vehicle.

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
