This is an exciting opportunity to progress your physiotherapy career within the Hertfordshire Community Trust.
This role is to work with the inpatient therapy team at Queen Victoria Memorial (QVM) Hospital. QVM is a 21 bedded unit based in Welwyn Village, Hertfordshire and specialises in the rehabilitation of a variety of pathologies including falls, orthopaedics, general medical, plus size, and amputees. The majority of patients follow a 17-day rehab pathway.
You will work closely with a supportive and friendly team of Physiotherapists, OTs, and Rehabilitation Assistants as well as the wider MDT in the delivery of a rehabilitation package. You will provide skilled assessment and treatment sessions to support the individual's rehabilitation and discharge planning. You will get free on-site parking and access to specialist rehabilitation equipment.
Main duties of the job
To deliver a complex package of high-quality healthcare including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients with various needs including orthopaedics, care of the elderly, and neurology. To provide expert advice, guidance, and information to health and social care professionals, carers, and relatives. To deputise for the Lead Therapist, as necessary.

* Work closely with medical, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and a holistic approach to patient care.
* Actively engage in personal professional development, attending training sessions, workshops, and other educational opportunities to enhance your expertise.
* Contribute to audits and research projects within the department to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.
* Manage and assess clinical risks within your patient group, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records in line with legal, departmental, and Trust protocols.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* HCPC registered.
* Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
* Previous experience of working in UK - Physiotherapy Rehab Unit.
