We require a highly motivated, enthusiastic suitably qualified Administration Assistant to work in our school office, which is the heart of our friendly, welcoming and inclusive school.

The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator, who will work alongside a strong and committed school and trust central team and will benefit from the wider professional opportunities available of working for Ad Astra Academy Trust. The school will consider funding the successful candidate to achieve a NVQ Level 4 if not already held. This position will commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will work under the direction and guidance of the Office Manager.
The main duties of the role will include; providing general administrative support to the school administration function with a focus on Admissions, undertaking accurate data-inputting tasks, word processing and other IT based tasks, together with reception and general office duties.
Candidates will already have previous administration experience and will be able to demonstrate good organisational and IT skills, including use of MS Office. Candidates will also need to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people, which include parents and children.
