We have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Administrator to join our team based in Exeter, working 4 days per week across 38 weeks of the year.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual whose duties will include dealing with patients and students both face-to-face and on the phone, reception, filing and general administration duties. Dental Administrators are required to provide high-quality telephone call-handling, reception, and appointment service. Dental Administrators also assist professional staff with clerical and administrative duties and support the organisation in ensuring that the Dental Education Facility is efficiently organised.
This post contains a range of duties requiring a variety of skills. The post involves liaising with professionals in healthcare, facilities, support staff and members of the public as well as Peninsula Dental School Staff, PDSE Staff and Dental Students. Dental Administrators must be excellent communicators, both verbally and in writing. It’s essential that the Dental Administrators also have good computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
This role includes:
* A contract to work 4 days per week, 38 weeks per year (30 hours)
* A starting salary pro rata to £25,537 per annum. The actual salary based on the contract available is £17,099.67 per annum.

Peninsula Dental Social Enterprise (PDSE) are an award-winning Social Enterprise and Community Interest Company. We provide NHS treatment and outreach services to local communities in Devon and Cornwall and we work closely with the University of Plymouth’s Peninsula Dental School to support the clinical education of its dental healthcare students.
