The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the electrical, automation, and industrial network systems in our production and warehousing facilities, as well as supporting and implementing continuous improvement projects. You will underpin manufacturing operations at the Andover site by conducting plant maintenance activities to achieve targeted levels of productivity, whilst championing safety and quality behaviors. We are happy to consider applications from those on graduate / timed visas already residing the UK. Key Responsibilities Work on electrical, controls and basic mechanical maintenance tasks. Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information. Overhauling and refurbishing of parts and equipment. Work cross functionally with teams in the organization to identify and systematically solve problems. Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades. Develop documented training material and support in upskilling the operations team. Troubleshoot PLC fault codes and identify external faults through software. Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Apprentice trained electrical maintenance engineer. C&G/NVQ3 in electrical engineering. Minimum five years' experience in manufacturing engineering. Excellent working knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment - Warehousing / distribution / logistics / process / production lines. A strong understanding of PLC control system architecture and field control devices Computer literate in MS office package, ability to use a CMMS system.
