We’re on a mission to expand our hygiene product offerings, and we need a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our SMB Sales Division, focusing on the North London and Essex areas. The Role: As a Business Development Manager specialising in hygiene products, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth within the SMB sector. You'll be part of an experienced team of Hygiene Business Development Managers, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your passion and deep knowledge of hygiene products to support both our customers and your colleagues in the SMB sales division. In return you will receive a salary of up to £40k per annum (commission up to an additional £24k per annum). What you will be doing as a Business Development Manager: Working strategically, to help prospect and win high profile business accounts with the Hygiene category around North London and Essex Identifying vertical market opportunities for the Hygiene proposition. Meet with customers to seek out full product requirements and suggest pricing strategies with customers as required. Support Sales Reps on client visits and creating optimal solutions for customer proposals. Support and develop Sales Reps knowledge through training and support sessions and being the key point of contact for specialist area. What you must have to be successful as a Business Development Manager: Experience and excellent knowledge of the Hygiene sector/marketplace, preferably within a business development environment is essential. Can demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of products and commercial exposure within the sector. The ability to build relationships and negotiate with internal and external contacts including; Facilities Managers, Purchase Managers. Suppliers etc. Organising and managing time effectively, the role will involve working across multiple projects.
