Base pay range
This is a 6-9 Month contract paying between £600-700 per day.
Director - Interim Finance, Private Equity and PE-Backed Business
Cedar is currently partnered with a fast-paced, private equity-backed technology and infrastructure business to secure an Interim Group Reporting Manager. The organisation is on a high-growth trajectory, driven by a blend of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. With a strong market presence and an appetite for innovation, this is a business that offers both complexity and ambition, underpinned by a commercially astute leadership team and a forward-thinking finance function.
The Role
As Group Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting across the Group. This is a broad and hands-on role, supporting month-end close activities, statutory reporting and ensuring high-quality financial outputs in a fast-evolving business environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the monthly and quarterly Group consolidation and reporting process.
* Preparing high-quality financial reporting packs for senior leadership and stakeholders.
* Supporting year-end statutory accounts preparation in compliance with IFRS.
* Managing the external audit process and acting as a key point of contact for auditors.
* Reviewing subsidiary submissions and supporting the integrity of Group-level reporting.
* Maintaining and enhancing internal reporting controls and processes.
* Updating and embedding Group accounting policies in line with evolving standards.
* Collaborating with finance teams across the business to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
* A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven experience in Group consolidation and reporting.
* Exposure to IFRS within a multi-entity, fast-paced environment.
* Experience in a PE-backed or acquisitive organisation is advantageous.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative working style.
Compensation & Benefits
