Job description
As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll be at the heart of everything that DCMS publishes on GOV.UK - covering government policy, guidance and research on culture, media and sport, such as reviews of broadcasters, strategies on key policy areas and guidance for members of public attending ceremonial events.
You’ll lead and manage a diverse range of content projects, working with policy teams to understand their digital requirements and then coming up with approaches on how to best showcase their work. You’ll then manage the process of bringing that to publication, ensuring that what is published meets GOV.UK style, building and testing GOV.UK pages, and sharing metrics and discussing improvements after publication.
You’ll also be involved in audits of each team’s content, supporting our network of GOV.UK publishers within DCMS along with digital specialists working for suppliers, and promoting content design best practices.
