The Vacancy

Then why not join our dynamic IT Service team in our support of 11 academies as part of the United Learning Trust across the Greater Manchester region, where we are committed to providing a life-changing education to children and young people.
Due to the career progression of two current staff, we are looking to fill 2 vacant posts, one based in a Salford located academy, The Albion Academy, the other, William Hulme’s Grammar School in Manchester. We require highly adaptable and technically proficient individuals to join our team in the roles of IT Technicians. The ideal candidates will be problem solvers who can work autonomously as well as part of a team to deliver IT services within our academies, ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and repair of all computer-related resources throughout. We are looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal skills who can work effectively with various stakeholders within the academies and the Trust.
You will support staff and pupils alike; therefore, you will be committed to delivering outstanding customer service. You will also be responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware and software and ensuring that dedicated IT areas are in excellent working order. The successful candidate will exemplify professional standards to colleagues.
