Oversee and interpret results from sleep studies (polysomnography, home sleep testing, etc.), providing accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Collaborate with sleep technologists, respiratory physiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Provide management for patients requiring positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy, CPAP titration, and other treatment modalities for sleep apnea. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on sleep study findings, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. Provide follow-up care and long-term management of chronic sleep disorders. Educate patients and their families on sleep hygiene, behavioral therapies, and the use of CPAP or other treatments. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives. Engage in teaching, training, and supervision of junior medical staff, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
