Job overview
We are recruiting for a Senior Clerical RDA who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

This is a demanding but interesting role in a busy department. The RDA team is friendly and hard working.
To fit into this job role you must be experienced in dealing with the public and have accurate keyboard and data input skills.

Main duties of the job
The main duties are reception, processing patient requests and general admin. You will play an important role in contributing to patient care and offering a quality service. We have computerised information systems, so a large part of the role is accurate data input.
To have knowledge of the CRIS clinical system and to book patients in accordance modality requested.
To communicate effectively and politely with patients, their families/ carers, hospital staff and outside agencies, in a professional and caring manner. To provide correct, accurate and factual information to patients by phone and in person, respecting patient dignity and observing equal opportunities at all times.

Qualifications/Training
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent or equivalent experience
* Willingness to undertake in house training appropriate to the job role
