The starting salary for this full-time position is £52,047 per annum based on a 36-hour working week. This is a 12-month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity.The work-base location is nominally Fairmount House in Leatherhead but with flexibility to work throughout Surrey. Join our team as a Project Manager and help shape the future of integrated commissioning! Why work with us We are excited to be hiring a new Project Manager to work with the Integrated Senior Commissioning Manager, aligned to the Surrey Heartlands ICS Mind and Body Programme, to develop better wraparound support to help people presenting with Mental Health issues or crisis in the Acute Trusts. You will work on projects related to complex discharge flow across the system for people with mental health issues. This is your opportunity to lead and influence large-scale projects that directly impact the strategic direction of the ASC Directorate. As a Project Manager, you'll have the chance to help shape service provision, ensuring we are ready to meet the needs of the future. The role
This role will work closely with the Senior Integrated Commissioning Manager to manage the development of strategies, projects, and service development activities. This will include improving step-down service options, community-based rehabilitation and embedding processes that will help people with mental health needs to access the right accommodation and support or prevent them losing their existing accommodation when they are in crisis.Your expertise in needs analysis and evidence-based policy advice will be crucial in making informed decisions that drive this work forward. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll work closely with senior officers not only across the Directorate, but across Surrey Heartland ICS and Frimley ICS to ensure our vision becomes reality. What we're looking for To thrive in this role, you'll need strong analytical abilities and vision with excellent communication and engagement skills. You'll be adept at inspiring and aligning a range of stakeholders towards a common goal. Your track record in project and/or policy development will demonstrate your ability to handle complexity and deliver successful outcomes.You will have a good understanding of the structures and governance of local government and the NHS, with an understanding of public policy and the process of policy formulation, particularly in the realm of hospital discharge and flow.
