If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well-respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in completing water hygiene service visits and tasks such as temperature monitoring, water sampling, shower C+Ds, TMV servicing, cold water storage tank cleaning & disinfecting, and cooling tower cleaning & disinfecting. Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring that client sites are provided with the appropriate water hygiene services and are compliant with all industry-specific and Health & Safety legislation.
2. Communicating with customers to ensure that all work completed is satisfactory and that issues are reported on the day of the visit both verbally and electronically.
3. Developing and maintaining relationships with key client personnel & colleagues.
4. Completing field documentation and reports via ZetaSafe, Word, and Excel, ensuring they are circulated to the relevant people within the required time frames.
5. Proactively making recommendations to clients and/or Account Managers for improvements to existing systems.
6. Maintaining an inventory of commonly required tools and spares for water hygiene works.
7. Takes all reasonable steps to ensure their own safety and that of others, complying with all current legislation and any prevailing site rules.
8. Reporting any accidents, incidents, or near misses in accordance with Company or client policies.
9. Working to achieve KPIs and targets set and agreed with the line manager.
10. Maintaining and updating water industry knowledge.
11. Carrying out Legionella and TVC sampling.
12. Carrying out general water hygiene temperature monitoring.
13. Carrying out shower cleans and descales.
14. Carrying out cold water storage tank inspections and reporting back findings with recommendations.
15. Carrying out thermostatic mixer valve servicing.
16. Recording results, adding assets, and setting up new customer sites via the Zeta mobile application.
17. Assisting with cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
18. Liaising with the Water Hygiene Supervisor regarding all technical issues.
General Requirements:
1. Good basic IT knowledge and experience with using emails and Google apps.
2. At least two years of experience in Legionella control services, including temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems, inspection of cold water tanks, clean and disinfection techniques for cold water storage tanks / calorifiers / showers, and TMV servicing.
3. Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
4. A full UK driving licence is required.
5. Good communication skills, punctual, presentable, and willing to learn and develop.
6. Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
7. Legionella Awareness training and full working knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 is desirable.
8. Knowledge in TMV Servicing is desirable.
9. Reading Legionella Risk Assessments is desirable.
10. Experience in using Zeta mobile or equivalent programme is desirable.
11. Experience in assisting with cooling tower cleaning and disinfections is desirable.
