Job Description
About the Role:
We're searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Team Leader to join our dynamic and growing QC/packing department. In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in upholding our commitment to quality by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards throughout the finishing, packing, and dispatching process.
You'll lead and mentor a team of QC specialists, fostering a collaborative environment while driving continuous improvement within the department. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and thrive in a fast-paced production setting, we encourage you to apply!
What You'll Be Doing:
* Lead and mentor the QC team: Provide guidance, training, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
* Champion quality control: Ensure that all products meet our rigorous quality standards throughout the finishing, packing, and dispatching process.
* Maintain a safe work environment: Uphold and promote the highest standards of environmental health and safety (EHS) within the department.
* Set and achieve goals: Establish clear daily/weekly goals for the team and ensure they are met effectively.
* Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs): Diligently adhere to SOPs to maintain consistency and accuracy in all QC processes.
* Perform hands-on quality checks: Conduct finishing tasks (cutting, counting) and pack printed products with precision and care.
* Collaborate with other departments: Liaise with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products and meet customer requirements.
* Manage dispatches: Prepare products for daily dispatch, ensuring accurate shipping information and documentation.
* Analyze data and report findings: Collect and analyze data for reporting purposes, providing insights to the Operations Team.
