Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated individuals to join an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ SEN school in Rugby as Teaching Assistants. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to students’ growth and success. The specialist school supports vulnerable students from the ages 7 to 19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) as well as those with Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
Your Role:
* Provide 1:1 and group support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) & Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
* Assist in English, Maths, and other subjects under the guidance of the class teacher.
* Maintain detailed records to monitor student progress.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and requirements:
* Minimum GCSE in Maths and English
* Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field
* Knowledge of SEN or experience working in schools (desirable)
* A passion for education and working with young people
* Hold a current and clear enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
* Hold a Full UK driving license (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
