The Post in Context
Wave is the main provider of the Learn to Swim Programme in the Lewes District. To ensure continuity of approach across all wet sites and address the “Business Sustainability” value it is, necessary for Wave to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to deliver aquatic activities in Eastbourne.
This post will be based at Hillbrow Health & Wellbeing, Hillbrow Sports Centre, Meads, Eastbourne. A local partnership of Wave Active and South Downs Health and Care will be running a health and wellbeing ‘hub’ at the Denton Road site in Meads, bringing together high-quality sport and leisure facilities alongside provision of accessible NHS and private community healthcare services.
Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
1. ASA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Aquatics or equivalent
2. ASA Level 2 Teaching Pre-School Swimming or equivalent
Experience (Essential)
3. Well developed interpersonal skills, able to work confidently with both adults and children
4. To ensure your knowledge is kept up to date by following CPD’s
