Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored support plans. Assist in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with a variety of needs. Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour to support individual learning goals. Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning space for all students. Requirements: To succeed in this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you should have: A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN. Previous experience working with children with additional needs (desirable but not essential). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to working with children. The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
