Hours per Week: 30 An excellent opportunity for a counsellor to join a busy and dynamic service, delivering counselling and therapy support to students. Student Success are seeking to recruit an experienced part-time (0.8FTE) Therapist to work within our Mental Health & Wellbeing Team. Your role will involve triaging online self-referrals from students, delivering Single Session Therapy appointments, short term (up to 6 sessions) ongoing therapy and providing Supervision to our Volunteer Counsellors. In addition, you will undertake, on a rota basis, Triage Duty Practitioner responsibilities and be involved in delivering groups and workshops to students, and delivering training to University staff on supporting students’ mental health. Working alongside our Mental Health Advisers, the successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support students and help them to achieve their academic potential. We are particularly interested to hear from experienced therapists who can deliver short term CBT or DBT informed sessions to our student population.
