P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a part-time permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare payroll data weekly and monthly for external accountants and add journal entries on accounting software.
* Process supplier invoices.
* Manage invoicing of all customers, statement production and credit control.
* Petty cash management.
* Timesheet data entry.
* Posting bank transactions and bank reconciliation.
* Month-end adjustments including prepayment and accruals.
* Month-end preparation of management accounts.
* General admin and ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of Sage 50.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Use initiative and deal with issues as and when they arise.
* Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
* Motivated with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Working hours and Benefits:
* Up to 15 hours per week, every Monday with flexibility over the rest of the week.

* 25 days + bank holidays (based on full time).
