SEN Teaching Assistant - Early Years SEN TA Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Location: B6, Aston Daily Rate: £95 - £105 Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, Term Time Only Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm LTF Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant at a welcoming mainstream primary school in B6. The successful candidate will work in the Early Years SEN room, supporting children with complex needs. This role includes providing both academic and personal care support, making a significant difference in the lives of young learners. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively. Plan and deliver engaging learning activities, adapting them to meet the individual needs of each pupil. Implement targeted interventions for groups of learners, such as phonics and reading. Build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Work with students with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Assist in small groups or on a 1:1 basis within the classroom, ensuring all students receive the attention and support they need. Requirements: A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree. Previous experience working with children, preferably within a school setting. Experience supporting students with special educational needs. A commitment to providing high-quality support and care, including personal care for students with complex needs.
