* Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
Job Description:
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of numerous green hydrogen projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting the multi-discipline design development and successful delivery of green hydrogen projects.
* Assisting in the preparation of key project documentation, including equipment specifications and technical drawings.
* Participating in project meetings and completing assigned follow-up actions in a timely manner.
* Working closely with the internal GCH team to ensure that other departments can effectively support projects.
* Coordinating and managing external resources and activities, such as site surveys.
* Assisting in the development of project cost estimates and schedules.
* Engaging and liaising with equipment suppliers and offtakers.
* Undertaking project procurement activities, including issuing request for information/request for quotation forms and supporting formal tendering processes.
* Supporting the commissioning of newly installed equipment and plant.
* Ensuring all project activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Engaging in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
* A degree in engineering (e.g., chemical, mechanical, electrical) or a related field.
* A strong academic record demonstrating technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in using engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
* A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to site as necessary.
* Legal right to work full-time in the United Kingdom, in perpetuity.
