A stunning B&I location in Staines for a UK-based software company, catering for approximately 340 people daily. We offer a free issue lunch and some high-end hospitality. The role operates Monday to Thursday, with free on-site parking available.
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Staines.
You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
* Excellent customer service skills
* Great team player
* Assist the Chefs with food preparation
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
* Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
* Clean heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials, including air filter and extraction systems
* Operate industrial dishwasher
Requirements:
* Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential
* Can-do attitude and willingness to help
* Organisational skills
Knowledge / Competencies:
* Good understanding and use of verbal English
* Good standard of written English and reading skills
* Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred
